DIY Mason Jar Soap Dispenser!

Hello! And welcome!

I've been wanted a new kitchen soap dispenser because the bottle we did use always felt like it had raw meats on it and was dirty, so we decided to make our own soap dispenser, which was way cheaper than going out and buying one. We already had all the supplies on hand.

What you need:
Old soap pump (mine is a bath and body works)
A mason jar
Drill or nail
File
Glue
Spray paint (optional)

Step 1: find the center on the lid of the mason jar. We then traced the pump and started cutting out the hole in the lid. We did this with a drill, pliers, and a file, but there are many ways you can do this step.

Step 2: Once the hole is just big enough to fit the pump snugly, glue the pump in place. We used epoxy since we didn't have any other glue at the time.

Step 3: (optional) I spray painted the lid and pump because my lid was a little rusty and the pump was ugly white, so I made them one color. Tip: Make sure you have a spray paint that is recommended for use on plastics, so it won;t come off the moving part of the pump

Step 4: Place on sink.

This was super easy to make and saved me lots of money.
